NewCold’s Fiorenzuola d’Arda facility in Piacenza recently welcomed a delegation from the Italian Parliament. The visit allowed us to showcase industry-leading standards in health and safety.
The Commission of Inquiry on Working Conditions, Exploitation, and Safety at Work requested the visit to observe firsthand the exemplary practices related to organizational law, labor law, and working conditions implemented at NewCold.

During the tour of the state-of-the-art facility, the delegation had the opportunity to closely examine the safety procedures in place, with a particular focus on the unique challenges of the cold chain industry.
The visit will inform the Commission’s broader initiative to develop a comprehensive action plan addressing national labor and safety standards for logistics companies.
